Sorrow to Joy

Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.                 Hebrews 12:2  

      

Sorrow may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning!

Remember that Christ had to endure the cross on your behalf. Be brave, and anticipate the morning. Feel in the night of sorrow, that underlying JOY that tells of confident expectations of the morning!

In his trials and sufferings, the Apostle Paul trusted in the promises of God:

… My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

Dear Heavenly Father – My strength is weak. Your grace and mercy is sufficient for me through all my sorrows and joys. Help me to always trust in You, through trials and sufferings, as well as, the victories, of each day. Strengthen me to not only endure the nights of sorrows, but to also persevere in my daily walk with You. In Jesus’s name – Amen.
