…The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest. Matthew 9:37 & 38

Labor Day is a holiday observed in United States on the first Monday in September (September 1 in 2014). It is a holiday dedicated to the workers in America as a yearly national tribute to the contributions they have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.

Laboring for the Lord, as children of God, should be a life-long love and passion, rather than an obligation or duty. Jesus told His disciples that there is much work to be done and more workers needed: “The harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few.”

Pray that many more laborers would feel God’s call to be sent forth into the fields of the world, serving in His harvest!

Seek the Lord!

Seek the LORD while He may be found,
Call upon Him while He is near.

Let the wicked forsake his way,
And the unrighteous man his thoughts;
Let him return to the LORD,
And He will have mercy on him;
And to our God,
For He will abundantly pardon.

Isaiah 55:6 & 7

Pray that there will be many that will hear God’s call to seek Him.

Pray that our nation will turn to God and move closer to Him and not turn away.

Pray for our friends and loved ones, that they too would be drawn closer to God.

“For He will abundantly pardon!”

I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me. Galatians 2:20

Let the song “I Surrender All” be our desire and prayer to God:

“All to Jesus I surrender;
all to him I freely give;
I will ever love and trust him,
in his presence daily live.

I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;
humbly at his feet I bow,
worldly pleasures all forsaken;
take me, Jesus, take me now.

I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;
make me, Savior, wholly thine;
fill me with thy love and power;
truly know that thou art mine.

I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;
Lord, I give myself to thee;
fill me with thy love and power;
let thy blessing fall on me.

I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;
now I feel the sacred flame.
O the joy of full salvation!
Glory, glory, to his name!

I surrender all, I surrender all,
all to thee, my blessed Savior,
I surrender all.”
