We ask you to join us in prayer for the ministry of UNI. Although our name suggests that we are a network news agency, we are first and foremost servants of God! God has raised up this work to serve Him, as we provide trustworthy news, as well as, features that honor and glorify Him.One of the verses in the Bible that speaks out to us as we desire to faithfully serve our Lord, is Psalm 115:1, which reads:
Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake.
Our focus as an organization; as a news service; as a ministry, has always been, “Not unto us;” but “Unto God be all the glory!” Please pray that we would remain faithful to this desire – In Christ Jesus’ Name. Amen.

Pray for the Dalits in India and the work of Gospel for Asia
Posted in Prayer for our Co-laborers in Christ on July 12, 2008| Leave a Comment »
Gospel for Asia (GFA), a missions outreach ministry to Asia, is holding it’s annual conference in Dallas, Texas.
One of the areas that was presented to the gathering for prayer was their work among the Dalits.
The Dalits are a caste group of over 300 million people in India, also known as the “Untouchables.” They are considered the lowest of the low in their society. If even their shadow touches an upper class person, they can be imprisoned. These castaways are crying out for help, to be fed, to have clean water to drink, education for their children, and deliverance from abuse and persecution.
Pray for the ministry of Gospel for Asia and their work among the Dalits. Although they are considered “Castaways,” to varies classes in India, God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34), and can do a marvelous work of Salvation in the hearts and minds of the Dalits.

Our 232nd Anniversary As A Nation Under God

The predominate words that are inscribed on our coins are, “In God We Trust,” and “Liberty.”
Pray that, as we celebrate our 232nd year as a nation, we would truly be a nation that trusts in God for leadership, direction, and hope.
As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all them that trust in him. 2 Samuel 22:31
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. 2 Chronicles 7:14
Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy… 1 Timothy 6:17
The inscription on the Liberty Bell is from Leviticus 25:10, which reads:
…proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof…
True liberty is provided by God, in Christ Jesus alone! Pray that many in our land would be freed from bondage to their sins — a freedom that only Christ Jesus can provide — His pure and lasting liberty!
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound… Isaiah 61:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage. Galatians 5:1
